The Lagos state government has declared Tuesday a public holiday in compliance with the annual commemoration of ISESE DAY on every 20th August in the state.
In Lagos state, Tuesday will be a work-free day for all public servants and workers in the state in commemoration of the 2024 Isese Day celebration which will for this year falls on Tuesday, August 20.
The declaration of Tuesday as a work-free day for public servants by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was โwith a view to promoting our indigenous culture and tradition while preserving our heritage.โ
Work will, therefore, resume on Wednesday, 21st August at 8 am prompt.โ
